Hawiian Shirt time.
Years ago, I fell in love with Hawaiian Shirts. For a short time, it seemed like I was getting one a year. Then, on this last trip, I found this one. California Beach Cities. I got it for Sweetie's memorial. It was her life that we were to be celebrating, and because she loved the beach so much, I felt it was appropriate.
In those last years of her life, and the ability to make that trip to California, to the Huntington Beach Pier, were times of happiness. We did the same thing every time we went there. For her, it was a new trip, for me it was polishing the memories to a bright gleam, so it would take longer to fade. I miss her so.
Wednesday
Didn't post yesterday, and I heard about it. When I was talking to her last night, she let me have it. Called my excuses for not posting as "Bullshit."
I just didn't feel like posting. She told me that it is so good for me. It gives me a outlet as to what I'm going through, and at the same time, it is helping others. She is also using it to help her find out about me.
Sometimes, it seems like I'm saying the same thing over and over again, just using different words to say it again.
Yesterday, was a windy day on the course. Was going to play 18 holes, it was just too windy and with the wind came the cold.
Played with a couple of retirees, and one was from California. We had something in common, as we talked about where and when in California lived. He is one of those golfers that make their swing so easy looking, and plays well.
After we called it a day, we started talking about playing again, and to make sure we meant it, went in and got a start time for next Monday. Something new has been added to my day.
Because of the wind, it meant a stay at home day. I am getting tired of these stay at home days. So, it appears that I just might be ready to parole myself into something new.
Driver is on the wait. He knows when I'll be getting back on the Road to Life and until then, He'll wait, for after all, I'll have to Keep My Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless. Arthur.
