MIni-stroke.

Sweetie's smile.

To me, she has the most infectious smile. I maybe a little predigests, I just love her smile. Even today, it gets to me. Where ever we are, or what we are doing, I can look at her and she will be smiling at me, and I melt.

Monday

It was almost a "normal" day for Sweetie. Her mornings start with that amazing smile, and everything is fine until I get her out of bed. She just doesn't want to be moved. With some coaching, I can get her up and moving. She isn't as steady these morning, and she needs me to help her to the bathroom.

She was very accommodating once on the potty, and getting her ready. It was afterwards that the fun began. She had one of her mini-stokes while I was pulling her pants up. I saw it happening and tried to get her back to bed. She blacked out as I was in the hallway. Laying her down, pillow under her head, and a blanket, I stayed with her as she rode it out. When she was able, back into bed she went.

The rest of the day went well, I put on a program that would keep playing after each show was over and Sweetie seemed to enjoy the show, so I let her stay and watch TV most of the day.

In the afternoon, I was able to get her to go for a ride, just to get out of the house. Got Tweetie out, and we did a ride in the country. I took the road that has trains in the scenery, and sure enough, there were trains running.

As we ride in the car, Driver lets us know, trains, flowers, and all the other sites are things to enjoy, as we head on down the Road to Dementia Town, Keeping our Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv ya, and God Bless.

(Just a little housekeeping. I've noticed that traffic is down and a couple of notes saying they didn't find the link to my blog. May I suggest that you bookmark this page. There are other tools available to find other post.)

A fitting farewell.

When we were young. I've been rummaging around and found this picture of Sweetie and me. We had been married for about a year when this...
