Big happy face for both of us.

Promise of a new day.

That nails it, each morning when I look out my window, see the sun rise, and knowing that this is a new day, I rejoice!

For without the promise of a new day, how could I go on? Each day brings with it a blank canvases, and I won't know what picture is painted until the end of that day. Will it be bright with yellows, greens, and blues, or will it be dark with blacks, browns, and grays? Most likely it will be a combination of all those colors.

For we don't know what Easter Eggs are waiting for us. We won't find them unless we go out and look for them. Yes, there are some that we trip over, some so obvious that we cannot ignore them. Then there are the ones that I can say, nay that isn't one, and at that time, it sure was an Easter Egg.

Thursday

It is our Bible Study morning. I have to get Sweetie up and going, for we do have to be there at a specific time. We can't just wonder in at anytime we please. That would be disrespectful to all there.

Getting Sweetie up, and in the bathroom, she pad is wet, but not as wet or heavy as I'd like. Going to push water today.

We're experiencing some liquid gold this morning. Because we are basically a high desert, rain is critical for us. When we get measurable rain fall when we normally don't get any rain, we are so happy for it.

On the other side of the coin, this also means that we won't be playing golf after the Bible study. So, on with the thinking cap to see what we can do differently to fill our time.

Off we go, into the cloudy day, with sprinkles of rain on the windshield. Wipers chattering as the sweep the water off the windshield, time to get a new set of wipers. Oh, what is this, a engine warning light came on. That is the second time this month.

Last time it came on, we got an oil change and it went out. Its back! Means a trip to the Auto Zone for a free scan, and then make plans to get  the repairs done. Get new wipers while we are there. Life goes on and we just make plans to accommodate life.

Because of the weather, we made extra short trips to Costco, to the mall for a short walk about, and home.

Sweetie was doing her trip walking as we did our walk about. It seems that she is shuffling along, and because the souls of her shoes are either wet or cleaner than normal, because of the water in the parking lot, they stick to the tile floor and she stumbles.

Sweetie is suffering because of her shoes, so we make one lap and head home.

Home, and I start planning to get dinner, when to give Sweetie her Hemp Oil so after we have dinner, we can head out to our meeting later tonight.

At dinner, she just won't eat. It is so baffling for me. I try to feed her, and she won't have anything to do with it. Huh?

After I finish, do the dishes, leave her bowl on the table to see if she will eat by herself. While I'm sitting on the the couch, she comes out, and sit with me. Retrieving the dinner bowl, I can now feed her, and she eats it all. Big happy face for both of us.

Out to the meeting, my turn to open the church for the meeting, have a good meeting, home to watch the rest of our Elvis movie.

Day is done, Driver is pulling into the parking lot of the Inn we are stay in. Even with the slick roads, and rain on the windshield, we had a good day. Not to much of this, that, or the other stuff that could of happened. Just enough of life to make the day go bye. For after all, we are on the Road to Dementia Town, and we Kept our Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless.

A fitting farewell.

When we were young. I've been rummaging around and found this picture of Sweetie and me. We had been married for about a year when this...
