Flowers from afar.
This is one of those mornings that I must ponder what to share with you. As of now, there isn't anything that is pressing itself to the surface of my mind that needs to be expressed.
Is it the calm before the storm, or is it just the way life is meant to be? These are the times that I must be aware of, for danger can be lurking nearby.
It is when I start to expect days in arow to continue, and have set my mind to expect her to act this way again, and when she takes a turn in the opposite direction, that is when the fun begins.
We are in such a good place right now, that I don't enjoy the idea that we may be moving on. For right now, I will entertain the idea we just might get one more day of good behavior.
Sunday
It was a good awaking for her. She was talkative and alert when I came into the room to get her. Sometimes I wonder how long to let her stay in bed on Sundays. She doesn't know what day of the week it is, all she knows is that I'm there, with a happy face on, getting her to move.
This morning is a breeze getting her up. She comes with me as we head to our first place of business, the bathroom. As I put her on the potty, and sit with her, she is smiling and seem quite content to be here with me.
It is Sunday, which is shower/shampoo day. Getting her off the potty, I put her in the shower and wash her bottom, then I get in to wash the rest of her.
So far, I've been able to get her head wet without too much resistance from her. Wet, shampoo, rinse, and repeat. After the hair, comes the body. It is such a breeze with her sitting on the bathtub chair.
Out, dried, dressed and to the table she goes. On with TV church, a cup of coffee, and she is set until I get my shower done.
We had a day of doing nothing. After church, turned on Cars, then watched Cars 2 & 3. That was enough for Sweetie. We did some potty training, and were successful for a #1, no 2's this time. After that she was ready for a nap.
That is about how the whole day went. We had a snack of cottage cheese and mixed fruit, popcorn, and then dinner. A lazy man's dinner, mac and cheese. With cholate moose to follow
As the day came to an end, I put Sweetie to bed, and closed up the house, cleaned up some dishes, and joined her. Prayers and to dreamland we went.
Driver has an easy day behind the wheel. For the Road to Dementia Town was on smooth asphalt and straight as could be. So, it was also easy to Keep Our Shiny Side Up, that it seemed like we didn't even have to try. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless. Arthur.
