Happier this morning.

Preparing a church Christmas breakfast.

I hope you didn't notice too many misspelled word in yesterday's post. Somehow I turned off my spell check, and had to down load a new version. It is one thing to miss up my computer one way or another. It is than the learning on how to resolve that problem I created.

Not happy with the new one, I'll try it for a couple of post, to see if I can get use to the way it works.

Wednesday

It seems as one day ends and the next morning, stuff happens. That was the way it was in the morning. After a long and irritating day, I was preparing for one just like it.

Started by giving her her morning CDB in bed. Leaving her to do some of my morning prep work and to let the Hemp oil work.

Upon returning, she was not as ristance to my getting her up. She is shaky when she stands up. So we wait until she is ready to walk into the bathroom.

I'm letting her sit by herself, as I leave and make the bed, get her clean cloths for the day. I've found this to be most rewarding. For her body went to work while I was gone. She hasn't been this productive in a long, long time.

Up and into the shower. She seems more cooperative this morning. In and out in good time.

Dressed and on our way to breakfast. Been giving her fruit before her cereal, which is why I think she had a productive potty time, so I will continue this routine.

She's happier this morning, more so then yesterday, and I want to keep it that way. So, that after breakfast, I ask her if she want to go with me this morning to the golf course. This morning her answer is "Yes."

Get her bundled up to protect her from the cold, and off we go.

I've noticed that her hands get cold, so I get to put gloves on her. Her right hand is almost a fist now, so I'm using a sweat sock doubled back on itself as a gove for that hand, and a glove for her left. After the round, the sock hand was warmer than gloved hand. So, I need to add something to her left hand. Plus, a lap blanket to keep her warm in the cart. Living in the solution, not the problem.

Met up with a good friend who was getting ready to tee off with one of his other friends. Ask if I wanted to join him, and of course the answer is yes. We try to make plans to play, and they always fall through. So, if the time is right, I don't miss it.

The game, the talk, and weather was all good. Sweetie was chilled at first, then adjusted for the cold. She was so happy to be with me and friends, what a blessing it was.

Took me awhile to get going, and by the 6th hole, I was in my game. Putting is getting better, and missed a couple of birdies when the ball rimmed the cup and came out. Pleased with the new grip and progress I'm making.

Once done and home, Sweetie was her sweet self. Lunch and to the mall for our walk about. She is still making the twice around trek, which makes me happy.

After the walk, we did a short road trip. Went to see of the Buffalo were out, and we weren't disappointed. So, we head home. I don't know why, but I find the Buffalo fascinating, and get excited when they are out.

When we got home, I would normally put her down for a nap. Seeing that she wasn't acting tired, we did what we do the best, watch TV.

I put off dinner because we had a late lunch. She seemed ready, and after she poured her milk on to her meal, I knew something was up. Helped her eat the chicken out of what was now milk and chicken and rice soup. She was done and so was I.

Afer a quick clean up, we returned to our evening positions, on the couch, and eat our dessert. Soon it was Sweetie yawning that signed the evening was through.

We found the smooth Road to Dementia Town, again. Driver had studdied the map last night, and headed to that enjoyable section to travel this day. Because of the ease of road, we were able to Keep Our Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless.   Arthur.

A fitting farewell.

When we were young. I've been rummaging around and found this picture of Sweetie and me. We had been married for about a year when this...
