She is tired.

Our mugs.

As the days grow shorter and nights grow longer, the seasons change. Here are some more decorate that didn't get put out this year.

It shouldn't matter my frame of mind about the decorations that didn't get out, it should be the happiness and joy of the season. Christmas should be a celabration of joy, goodness, and Peace on Earth. I just cannot get myself into that mood.

All the bussle of cleaning, unwrapping, and finding places to put things, that will change the room from everyday living to a Christmas wonderland. I know that there is still time to put stuff out, and I may do just that.

Saturday

A freedom day. And from looking out the window, it looks like it will be a good day to be out. The temperature will be on the cool side. At the same time, it will be sunny, blue skies, and a great day to be outside.

Sweetie had a rough night last night. She just couldn't find sleep easily. Know this, I'm letting her sleep in. With the knowledge of my caregiver coming and taking care of her, I know she will in good hands.

I hear her at the door. She comes in with nail polish in hand. It is purple, and some how she knew it is Sweetie's favorite color.

With a "Hi and Goodbye" I'm off. It is just above freezing, but it is nice. One thing about cold weather, is the chill factor. As long as there isn't any breeze and the sun is shining, I don't notice the cold that much.

The course is empty, because of the cold, and I have time to pratice while I'm playing.

One of the first things I notice is the lack of Canadian Geese on the course. They have been wintering here for a few years which is nice, and then again, it isn't. You see, they are messy birds, they are large messy birds that leave their mess all over the course. It seems that last nights drop in temperature must have triggered their migration mood. There are a few still here, and with the majority of the flocks gone, we might have a cleaner course this winter.

Started out with a par on the first hole, a good sign. My putting is improving as we play. It seems that I've found a solution to missing those putts that causes me to pull what hair I have left out. Just so close to going in. Pratice, pratice, pratice.

Home to find Sweetie and caregiver on the couch watching Desney and having a grand old time.

She reports that she gave Sweetie a shower, washed her hair, and they had a nail polishing time. She also gave Sweetie a rolled up wash cloth to put in her right hand, and suggested that I work with her to see if she can get her to open it more. The washcloth will help the hand breath, so it won't smell. Will do.

After she left, it was my turn to care for her. She was bright and warm towards me, and we finished watching her show.

In general, it was again, the same routine. To the mall, the walk about, nothing new here. Home, and couch time.

For dinner this evening, it is a salad. Iceberg, celery, tomatoes, with cut up pork. We sit at the table, and I'm back to feeding her. Which is good when eating lettuce. Easy clean up, and back into couch mode we go.

She is tired, and wants to go back to bed. I'm thinking that it is too early for her, then again, I can't stop her and off she goes.

Later in the evening, she comes out, sits with me, and we share a dessert. It is almost 10 when she makes me aware that she is ready for bed.

As I join her, say our prayers, sleep comes quickly. A good ending to a good day.

Driver opened the door to let us out for the night. He knows that we need a good night sleep and has found a good place to stop. For the while we were on the Road to Dementia Town, we had a good time and were ready for a good nights sleep. You see, all the while He was driving, we were Keeping Our Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless.   Arthur.
