$45 later.

Time to tee it up.

It was a day of mystery, of not knowing what to expect from the night before. Sweetie just wanted to sleep, and being a day that doesn't have anything special planned, let her sleep.

Friday

It was when she came out of the bedroom, carring her top sheet, like a teddy bear, I knew it was going to be a good day.

She headed for the backyard door and tried to get outside. I would of let her, accept for it is very cold out there, and so I drew her back to me.

It was potty time, and at that same time, for me to check and see how the bed was. Putting her on the potty, and headed back into the bedroom to clean and make the bed.

She is good at staying where I put her, so, as long as I check in with her, she will sit.

After making the bed, I returned to her, and told her that I was going to put her in the shower, that we were going to put clean clothes on her, and then brunch.

That is when I got the best surprise of the day. She had big movement while just sitting there. It has been awhile since she did something like that.

So, washing was needed, and she was coopertive most of the time, which helped a lot.

It is almost 11 when we sit down for breakfast, and she is ready to eat. Last time we went shopping, I bought a large can of fruit cocktail, to see if I could save some money. Yea, as it sat on the shelf, the fruit settled in the can. Not liking that, I think I'll go back to the individual containers.

We did make it to the mall for a walk about and I was on a mission to find discounted Christmas Cards for the next couple of Christmas. We first tried Hobby Lobby, and they didn't have any. We then headed to the mall, and only did one lap, my legs were really bad this time.

As we were heading out, The Hallmark Store! That is the place to find the cards! Back to the escalator, for they are on the bottom level, and to the store we go. $45 later, we are supplied with cards for the next decade.

All day long, I was giving her some CBD about every two hours and yet, as the evening came, so did her change in personality. No matter how much I gave her, she changed, wasn't as friendly, and I could tell, a rough night was ahead.

Sure enough, just before the time for us to head out to my meeting, she wouldn't have anything to do with leaving the house.

Back to knowing that she is safe, I left her in bed and headed for my meeting.

Watching her do her strip the bed routine, and then laying there, in an attempt to go to sleep. I knew she would be fine until I got home.

Meeting over, back home, and with very little urging, re-made the bed, got her to get to take her shoes off, and into bed she went. I soon joined her. Said our prayers, and she even said "amen" at the end. Just love it when she says the approprate word, that tells me she is still with me. And off we went to La La land.

Driver was on His best yesterday. It was a good day on the Road to Dementia Town. Only a few rough spots, but made it safely to the end of the day, all the while we were Keeping Our Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless.   Arthur.
