Winter wonderland.

 Still white out.

Didn't warm up enough to melt the snow, so yesterday it was still a white day. For me, it is a good practice day with Sweetie.

Because we won't go outside, even to the mall for our walk about, we will just sit. I don't like to sit and watch TV. I know that if we don't get out and use up the energy that our bodies produce, we will sit up nights, unable to fall asleep, get tired and cranky. Which isn't any good for either of us.

As it is now, with the golf and walks, we may not use up all the days energy, but use enough to let sleep come and renew us.

Thursday

I'm finished with my morning routine. Today is the day I spend time talking with my good friend in Texas. We go back almost 10 years. We met at church, and bonded then. It was in a home Bible study, and we've been good friends since.

Over the years, we first would used phones, now it is IM on Face Book, and we can see each other. Amazing how far technology as come.

Afterwards, it is time to get her up. She is somewhat easy to get up, and she only got her top sheet wet this morning, so making the bed will be easy.

Get her on the potty, and go back to make the bed. Lately, I've been doing this, to give her a chance to poop before we go any further.

This morning, I don't know what it is that is working for her, but she had a bowel filling movement. So grateful to see it, for I know when she does that, we usually have a better day.

So, it is another bottom shower, and then off for breakfast. Looking outside, and seeing a winter wonderland, I know that it will be another amazing day watching Disney movies.

One of the movies we watched was Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". It was made when Walt Disney wanted to use cartoons to introduce youngsters to the classics.

For me, it was the first time I ever watched it. I'm not much of a musical movie lover, but I liked it.

The day did warm up enough to melt the snow on the roads, so I made plans to make our evening meeting. Cold, but safe roads.

Sweetie did well until around 3, which is her nap time, and went back to her nest to take one. Not wanting her to sleep too long, I did get her up in time to eat, and go with me to the meeting.

Glad we went. Had a good group, with a person there for his first meeting. If I'd stayed home, what damage could have come to him if he didn't make that meeting. I don't know, I'm just happy we went.

Home, CBD, and to bed we went.

It was a different day on the Road to Dementia Town. As we were driven by our Driver, both Sweetie and me napped, holding hands, and resting comfortably, while Driver keep the car from rocking, and Keeping Our Shiny Side Up was easy. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless. Arthur.

A fitting farewell.

When we were young. I've been rummaging around and found this picture of Sweetie and me. We had been married for about a year when this...
