Day 3, it came too soon.

Me and my girls.

Getting down to the finial days. Today was the trolley tour of Pensacola. It wasn't a shopping drop off in Pensacola, as I thought it would be. It was a tour of the downtown area, the old buildings, and how it grew.

Pensacola is a old city. Been around for a few hundred of years. Where I would of liked to have been dropped off was the Crawdad Festival. It looked like a wonderful way to past the day.

Saturday

This is it, the grand finish of the reunion. One more time on the trolley, being bused back to the Navel Air Base, to the Officer's club, for our dinner and awards. My girls were the hit of the party. The dressed to the impress, they were the hit of the party. Plus, when there seemed to be a need for helping, clearing tables, cutting cake, they didn't need to be asked, they just did. I was so proud of them, and so lucky to call them my children.

This is definitely a reunion that I'll never forget. The next one is in San Diego, in 2024. Already making plans to be there.

Earlier in the reunion, I saw the hand holding and the walk of a couple with Dementia. At the dinner, as we were in line to get our dinner, I was able to speak to the husband. I told him that I had lost my wife to Dementia, and a short history of my experience. They are at the beginning of there journey to Dementia Town. He was happy that I approached him, a was eager to get any help he could. It was a small step into helping another with the journey I had completed.

Driver knew, that this is now my new life, helping others as they travel down the Road to Dementia Town. The most important part will be to help them Keep Their Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless. Arthur.
