I miss this lady.
We were suppose to get some rain yesterday morning. Well, for once, the weather report was somewhat right. We got rain, then it turned to snow. It snowed for about an hour, and then like good New Mexico weather, the sun came out and melted it all away. I enjoyed watching the big snowflakes fall.
I was able to get Sweetie up and into the shower right off the bat. It was a battle, but not much of one. Washing her hair was tough, she didn't like the water getting into her eyes, and it didn't matter how much I tried to help, it wasn't enough. What was good, was I accomplished my mission.
Was a good time to put more heat on her shoulder, and get her to take the aspirin. I think I'm seeing some improvement in her using her right arm, especially when we eat. That is good news, or Easter Egg, which I prefer.
Yesterday was a sleep day for Sweetie. After the shower, I stripped the bed, and later when she wanted to go back to bed, it wasn't made, and I had to convince her it was OK to sleep like it was. Again mission accomplished.
She got up again for a short while, then went back to bed, this time downstairs, until dinner. When I got her up for dinner, it was time to put her night pad in, and with a minimum of complaint, also got that done. After dinner, the same scenario, had to get back to bed. And that brought her day to an end.
A day of rest, that is what my Driver calls it. Rest for her, and for me. For I get to be alone with Him, the car, and being on the Road to Dementia Town, rest is a big accomplishment. He pours His love and energy into me, to renew and refresh me as we travel down the Road to Dementia Town, with our Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv ya, and God Bless.
