A day wtihout anxiety.

At the zoo '21.

What a day yesterday was. It was one of just nice pleasure. How do you describe a day without anxiety? Yet at the same time, there wasn't great amounts of laughter or funny silly things that marked the day as a fun day? It was a day of being reasonably happy without great ups and downs.

Saturday

It is my second day in a row that I have a caregiver in. It will be the 2nd weekend of each month. It starts with my Friday support meeting, and that day off and then the next day, Saturday, is also a off day for me. WooHoo.

Today is also the caregiver is our first caregiver, and she is going to give Sweetie a shower, and take good care of her. With both of them in the shower, into Tweetie I go, and head for the course.

Without a care in the world, I pull into the parking lot, and head for the pro shop. While in there it is the blah, blah, blah about stuff that doesn't matter, pay for my round and off I go.

Meet a young man, a single, and we join up. I have a good first half, and after 6 holes, it is looking good, only 2 over with 2 pars and a birdie, blew a chance of another eagle and had to settle for the birdie. It was #7 that got me, a 4 over, and the round was history.

It is my frame of mind as I play, and the confidence level goes up to the cocky level and I blow it.

Home to Sweetie, and after the caregiver leaves, we sit and watch TV. Afterwards it is mall time. Only one lap today, she seems very tired.

Home to finish the evening. A salmon salad, dessert, and to bed early. I'm just dead tired and find myself sleeping on the couch. Sweetie is ready too, and so around 7pm, we are in bed with sleep coming at us like a runaway locomotive. Prayers, kiss, and we're done.

Driver had the road map out early this day. What a day in the sun it was. Sweetie, me, and Him behind the wheel, heading down the Road to Dememtia Town, Keeping Our Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv ya, and God Bless.
