When I pulled into the courses parking lot, it seemed like there was a Corvette parking just for us. So, we joined them. Tweety and others, you know birds of a feather, and all of that.
It was like that for most of the day. It was a good day, my morning was somewhat cramped. It almost got away from me. Church at 9, and afterwards, did some grocery shopping.
It has been awhile since I've been in a store. I didn't do the shopping list thing this time. It seems that Sweetie isn't with me, shopping is a hit and miss trip. Before, it was take inventory of what was needed, put it on my shopping list, and away we would go. Now, it is wonder around the store, and pick up what I think I need, and wonder some more. It is a easy way to kill some time.
Looked at the new bar be ques on sale, and now it is which one that I will get. Bought a new pair of pants, and slippers. The slippers on the slip on, and keep my feet warm.
Home, and unloading, putting away, and because it is Sunday, it is also pasta day. Got all the makings out, and started my afternoon big meal. I'm glad I'm keeping pasta day alive. It is simple, it is easy, and the sauce never taste the same twice. Because I don't measure, just know that garlic, meat, onion, tomato sauce, and other spices goes into my marinara sauce, the amounts differ each time I cook it. It is all good, just some is better than others.
With linguine, because I couldn't find spaghetti, I went with the linguine. It works well, and as a pasta lover, it is a good substitute. I'm thinking of doubling the sauce, and save it for a second pasta day in the week.
After dinner, it was off to my Sunday meeting. Before the pandemic, the meeting averaged around 8 to 10 people. Now we are lucky to have 4 people. Last night, there were more people than normal. I think it is like bears coming out of hibernation, people are slowly returning to the rooms.
After the meeting, home, ice cream, a phone call with daughter, watched some TV, and to bed. All in all, a good day.
Driver seemed to relaxed as we live these days. There isn't any pressure on me to do anything. He is helping me plan this up and coming trip. Things are going as well as they are. For after all, we are on the Road to Life, Keeping My Shiny Side Up. C'ya, Luv Ya, and God Bless. Arthur.
