Spring Training has begun.

  I miss my Baseball Buddy

Tuesday was the day for pitchers and catchers to start their workouts. My first ever baseball game was with my grandpop, who would pick me up and take me to Wrigley Field in Los Angeles to watch, when they were a minor league team in the then Pacific League, the Los Angeles Angels. Because of my Pop, I am a life long Angel fan, and with Sweetie enjoying my passion, makes it all that much better.

The jersey she is wearing is one that she had bought for me for a birthday present and then forgot about it. That same year, we went to Anaheim for my birthday and I got the white jersey for myself. So, as it works out, we both now have Angel jerseys.

By now you should know our weekly schedule and Tuesday is our movie day. Went and saw "Birds of Prey". Kinda of a comedy, with fighting scenes. Had to watch her closely to make sure that the movie didn't freak her out. She did well. The humor wasn't over her head so it balanced the rest of the movie.

She started her sundowners early as we were on our way home. I think it was because of the winter sky, gray overcast and dimly lite day. I gave her a shot of CBD in the car and made it home without too much drama.

One of the things that I've noticed about her and her agitated behavior is that sometimes it isn't her sundowners. It can be her need to go potty. When we got home, I took her to the bathroom, and she immediately sat down, and Niagara Falls. As her body did what it was suppose to do, she would look at me and tell me it wasn't her. I have to tell her that her body is doing what it needs to do and tell her not to stop it (even if she could). This may sound weird, but, we did not have to get her clean underwear all day.

Did I tell you that we're working a jigsaw puzzle? I probably have and what we have developed is a way to get her interested in doing the puzzle. I'll find the pieces and give her the piece and show her where it goes. She will try, and I'll tell her to rotate it, and soon she gets it into place. Yea! Or she will find a piece by herself and find where it goes. Double yeas and high fives. Then, I'll find one and  put it partially in place and have her press it in. Fun for both of us.

Just a note about Sweetie's fading memory. After dinner, we do the dishes together, and she is asking more and more where the dishes go. I don't mind telling her where or which drawer they go in. What I find interesting me is, she will indicated where something goes, look at me while pointing and asking. Then I may have to tell her two or three times, yes or no. We get the job done, she helps, and I get a hug.

Enough for now, hope you found this interesting to read. Easter Eggs from yesterday? Well, the whole day was good. The puzzle was one, the clean underwear was another, had mash potatoes with meat and veggies last night and she ate it all. That was a big Easter Egg.

Each day is a planned and unplanned event. I'm going to try to play golf today if the course is open. There is still snow on the ground, so if I go it is going to be the yellow, orange, or red golfball day. Either way, I'm going to put Sweetie in daycare which will allow me some me time.

I can hear the motor running outside, and that means my Driver is up and waiting. He knows what I'm doing here, and I have His approval. So, up and at them, heading to the right side, in the door, and buckle up for another ride down the road, keeping the Shinny Side Up, looking for Easter Eggs at each rest stop as we go. Hope you have a good day, drive carefully, and remember, Keep Your Shinny Side Up. God Bless.

A fitting farewell.
